Guerrette Properties, a real estate management company in Augusta, Maine, has cancelled scheduled rent increases for several apartments that it manages in Augusta because of the potential impact of COVID-19. The owners of these properties had previously determined and scheduled rent increases for tenants paying below market rent, and Guerrette Properties had begun notifying tenants of the scheduled rent increase. Due to the unknown impact of this pandemic in our local community, the owners of these properties and Guerrette Properties Management have cancelled scheduled rent increases for May and any tenant still concerned about their upcoming April and May rent can contact the Guerrette Properties office to discuss their options.
